I am the founder and lead social worker at Lakeshore Counselling Services. I am a committed social worker with many years of varied experience. I am a graduate of the University of Windsor School of Social Work way back in the last century in 1988!  I have worked as a bilingual pastoral and youth minister in the Catholic Church and have maintained strong connections with many of the families and youth I serviced during that time. As well, I have worked many years as a school-based social worker for a French Catholic school board working at both the elementary and secondary levels. Many of the students I worked with during their formal education later found me again in their adult years and have reconnected to my services.

I like to create strong and meaningful connections to my clients as I help support them through the various phases of their lives or crises they may encounter. I have been in private practice since 2019 and my services have grown tremendously over that time. Besides my important professional experiences, I also give tremendous credence to my role as a wife since 1989, a mother to four adult children, and now my role as a grandmama! It is all of these experiences combined that I believe have formed me into the social worker and person I am today.

I am proud to be a Registered social worker and a graduate of the University of Windsor School of Social Work. As a general practice social worker, I have acquired the knowledge and education necessary to help you meet a variety of therapy-centered goals. I have gained varied experience through employment opportunities and I am confident in my abilities to help you in achieving your counselling goals.  I offer counselling to all age groups however, I especially enjoy working with youth, teens, and young adults. I excel in my areas of focus which are chronic illness, depression, anxiety, healthy relations, and trauma.

I am married and live a fulfilling life in a small town in Essex County where we enjoy the outdoors and our two rambunctious dogs. I was born and raised a country girl and love rural life. I am fully bilingual and can offer you services in both French and English.

I am a Master's level social worker, author, and life coach specializing in self-awareness and self-development. I discovered my love for research, writing, and sharing knowledge with others during my psychology education, and now long to work with others to help them achieve optimal holistic health.
I am an advocate for non-conventional, evidence-based coping strategies and a loving and committed mother, partner, and friend. I am passionate about holistic mental health, lifelong self-care practices, self-exploration, self-love, and well-being. I am always looking for new ways to learn and grow. When not practicing social work, I like to find new and effective ways for my son and loved ones to overcome life's mental and emotional hurdles.
I was born in the small town of Mcgregor, Ontario, and grew up in a family that always emphasized the importance of helping those in need, which taught me to recognize those who struggle and do what it takes to help them. I left my hometown to take on the big imperfect world and pursue a life-long journey of assisting others in overcoming adversity and mental health struggles. I would be honored to join your healing journey!
